W.A.L.T Critically analyse how authors use descriptive language and figurative language to create mood and atmosphere.

I had to make a story out of some words that were already written and here it is!

I know, it's a little bit dark but that's to set the mood so yeah.

Venn diagram about poems

 W.A.L.T. Critically analyse two poems.
These are two poems for this blog post and I made a Venn diagram for what's similar and what's different.
Here are the poems and the Venn diagram.

HOME TIME by Michael Hall
My brother in grey school shorts,
shirt, pack on his back,
bare feet,
splashing the dull sky.
Approaching each
puddle
on his path
as if the world has been transformed
by the rain.
As if he needs to explore
its strangeness
again with a kind of
jump
as if walking on the moon.

Trustworthy animation

W.A.L.T. Show the virtue of being trustworthy.

Me and Kalem Made a animation on being trustworthy. It's about a cookie jar and a person.

Autumn Leaves

W.A.L.T. Write Haiku's.
Today me and the rest of Room 2 wrote Haiku's. A Haiku has to have 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and 5 in the third and final line.
This is my Haiku:

Amber leaves fall down,
Sticks underfoot crunch like fire,
We finished our walk.

2 days ago we went out for a walk around the domain to look at the leaves and write down notes. I wrote a Haiku out of my notes but only kept the last line that you saw in my Haiku.

Limericks

 W.A.L.T. Write a limerick.

We had to write limericks a week or 2 back and I paired up with my friend Kalem to do it. Limericks are meant to be funny and have 5 lines. Here is the link!
